One problem · 6–8 weeks · £750–1,500

The Fix.

One named problem, worked properly, with an end date. You’ll know what we’re fixing, how we’re fixing it, and what should be different by the end — written down, before you pay anything.

01 — The honest bit first

We write down what “fixed” means before we start.

Almost all dog training is sold by the hour, which conveniently means nobody ever has to say what done looks like. We say it first, and then we’re on the hook for it.

Example — written at the assessment, before any money changes hands

Every Fix starts with these two paragraphs, agreed and written down.

Where we start

Comes back about half the time in the garden. Never once with another dog in sight. So he lives on a lead, and everybody’s fed up with him.

What we’ll call done

Recall on a ten-metre line in the paddock, then off the line in the paddock, then off the line on the marshes with dogs visible at thirty metres. Three first-time recalls out of four, across three separate sessions.

Yours will say something different, because your dog is different — the point is that it says something at all
02 — How the weeks run

Four sessions across six to eight weeks.

Sessions are spaced on purpose. The change happens in the fortnight between them, not in the hour you spend with us.

01

Assessment

We watch the dog, agree the one problem we’re fixing, and write the outcome down. If we don’t think we can help, this is where we say so and you owe us nothing.

Week 0 · Free
02

Session one — teach it

The mechanics, at a level the dog can already manage. You leave able to do it yourself, because you’re the one who has to.

Week 1
03

Session two — proof it

Same behaviour, harder conditions. Distance, duration, distraction, in that order.

Week 3
04

Session three — take it out

Somewhere you didn’t choose. A lane, a car park, the group — or on video, if we’re working online.

Week 5
05

Session four — hand it over

We stop running it and watch you run it. Anything that falls apart here gets fixed here.

Week 7
06

Review against what we wrote

We read back the outcome from week zero and mark it honestly. If it isn’t there, see the next section.

Week 8
03 — Same programme, three ways

Where it happens is your choice, not ours.

In person

At the paddock

Two private acres at Church Cottage. Best when the problem needs space, distance, or other dogs to work around — recall, reactivity, anything that falls apart outdoors.

In person

At your home

Best when the problem is the house. The door, the visitors, the bin lorry, the dog that never switches off. We come to where it actually happens.

Online

On video

You film, we watch, we coach on a call. Same plan, same written outcome, no postcode. Most of the work was always homework anyway — this just makes that explicit.

Residential is the fourth way and belongs to The Transformation · Online runs UK-wide and beyond
04 — Price

£750 to £1,500. The assessment decides which.

Not a menu. The same problem in two different dogs isn’t the same job, and pretending otherwise is how people end up paying for the wrong thing.

01How long the dog’s been rehearsing it
02Whether it’s one behaviour or three wearing the same coat
03How far we travel, and how often
04Whether the work needs the paddock or can run at home
05Whether anyone else in the house has to change too
06Whether we’re building from nothing or repairing a half-taught cue
Paid upfront or in two instalments · Nothing is sold on the day of the assessment · Results vary by dog
Proposed — not agreed, not live05 — Risk

We guarantee the work, not the result.

A dog isn’t a boiler and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. But there’s a version of this we can stand behind, and this is it.

What we’ll stand behind

If you do your bit, we keep doing ours.

  • Do the homework and turn up, and if we haven’t hit the written outcome by week eight we carry on at no extra cost — until we do, or until we agree together that it isn’t going to happen
  • If we don’t think we can help you, we say so at the assessment and you owe us nothing
  • If it needs a vet or a clinical behaviourist first, we send you there instead of taking the money
What we still won’t do

Promise you an outcome.

  • Promise that a dog will behave a particular way
  • Guarantee a result — no honest trainer can, and the ones who do are selling something else
  • Sell you a package on the day you meet us
  • Keep taking your money when it plainly isn’t working
06 — And then?

The Fix ends. That’s the whole point.

Eight weeks, done, handed over. What people find afterwards is that the dog doesn’t stay fixed by accident — it stays fixed because they keep turning up somewhere.

The problem you came in with will be finished. A different one turns up later, and it turns up on a schedule: the perfect six-month-old falls apart at ten months, then there’s the second dog, the baby, the house move, the bad encounter in a car park.

So the membership isn’t maintenance and it isn’t a content library. It’s a fixed time, a field or a call, and other owners who know your dog’s name — plus somewhere to bring the next thing before it becomes another eight weeks.

Group coaching, monthly — in person or online

A pack walk, a paddock session, or a video call: one thing in three formats, on a monthly membership rather than per session. Every Fix ends with the offer, and nobody’s signed up automatically.
